⚡What Having a “Growth Mindset” Actually Means
Harvard Business Review recently published an article to summarise what having a growth mindset REALLY means, and how to nurture one in your organisation.
Growth Mindset: The belief that by hard work, good strategies and external input, your talents can be developed.
Fixed Mindset: The belief that your talent is an innate gift that cannot be developed.
With this in mind, it might not come as a surprise that a growth mindset produces higher achievement in an individual.
Now imagine applying that growth mindset to the whole work organisation. Your employees will feel more empowered and more committed to their job, your retention rates will increase alongside employee satisfaction.
Unfortunately, embedding a growth mindset is not as simple as simply saying your company operates with one. |
