Exercise: Habits of Successful Salespeople
Instructions: Ask the team to list the top 5 behaviours or activities that they believe make them successful in their roles.
Ask them to prioritise them for a new person joining the team:

What will help a new colleague be successful?

Who should they spend time with?

What tools and systems are the most useful?

What sources do they use to research their clients?

How do they share info amongst the team?
Note to manager - the objective of this is to involve and engage your existing team in the success of your new joiner. They will have so much knowledge (that they don’t even realise) to share. If they feel included in the process, they are more likely to feel they have a vested interest in the new joiner’s success. |
